Welcome to Fort Revere (formally known as Fort Independence). The concrete remains before you are what's left of the star shaped fort that dates back as far as 1775 although the site itself is recognized as being a fort site as far back as 1633.  To learn more about this fascinating location, you can read the many signs posted above the fort telling of its history and that of the tower behind it.

To log this cache as being found, you must first take a photo of yourself at the Brewster Islands sign with the ocean behind you. Then proceed to the posted coordinates and contact me with the answer to the following question: what am I referring to in the title? Send me both the answer and the photo. If your answer is correct, I will contact you and you may then log the cache as found. Please do not post any photos that may give away the answer. Logs that have been placed without approval will be deleted
