Theodore Francis Green was born on October 2, 18G7.
Green graduated from Providence High School in 188C and Brown University in 188H, receiving a Master of Arts degree from Brown in 188I. He was admitted to the Rhode Island Bar a few years later.
Green began his career in public life in 19E7 as a member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives.
Green served as the 57th governor of Rhode Island from 193B - 1937.
Green served F4 years in the United State Senate, being elected A times and, upon his retirement at age 9J, held the record for being the oldest person to serve in the Senate.
Green died in Providence, Rhode Island on May 19, 1966, at the age of 9D. He is currently interred at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence.
