River Run 2026 - a nice kayak / canoe run down the river while caching. The section of river between Whites Landing and Wickaboug Landing is flat smooth and almost not moving. It is 5 or so miles of paddling and will take 4 to 5 hours to complete. It does flow from Whites to Wickaboug and is the prefered direction to travel. This section of river once hosted a Geo Floatillia as part of the C-Mass Events. Many of those Caches have long gone away. With permission from the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife and the help of some local Cachers they are back. Make sure you've got a PFD, water and snacks for a great day!
For this Cache your looking for a black colored pre-form tube hanging about 4 feet in a bush. You will need to get out of your boat to sign the log. See the Gallery for a Spoiler Picture.
It is also possible to access this Cache from the shore thru the Quaboug WMA. This is why I gave it a 4.5 Terrain. Be safe and stay dry.
