About This Sponsored Trackable:
Helping millions of people save money with GEICO's great insurance rates can be a demanding job for a Gecko. Like many of us, the GEICO Gecko is ready to get out of the office and soak up some sun while experiencing spectacular places around the world (well, rain or shine). You can help the Gecko get a little R&R by aiding his travel from cache to cache. Be sure to show him the great views along the way!
This trackable Gecko is provided by GEICO as part of the "Find the Gecko Sweepstakes." Simply fill out the entry form and you could win a Magellan eXplorist GC GPS unit, one of the most popular GPS devices for geocaching! There will be one unit given away each week for 20 weeks. Enter each week to increase your chances!
This is not collectible.

The mission of this geico gecko is to travel the mountains, looking for snakes. If you see a snake of any sort, take a photo of it and post it. Then, drop the tag in the nearest mountain cache.
It's a Geico Gecko Travel Tag with a rattlesnake attached. Larry the Poolsnake Guy attacked me with his snake one day and I kept it. I've released into the wild to commemorate my having been bit by a rattlesnake while geocaching.
Yes, it's true. I was bitten by a rattlesnake. Really. Want me to show you which finger? You can find pics at this link. The story begins at GC19GG0, the adventure's apex occurs at GCHWBN, continues on to Pomona Valley ER, and is finally resolved in the Kaiser cardiac care unit (CCU) under observation for nearly 48 hours.
