• The Hatfield McCoy House travelbug Inn (001 HMHG) contains travelbugs waiting to be moved and is a great location for other cachers coming to the area to grab any trackables you may want to leave in this secure location. Trust me, You will know it when you see it ! You can click here to go to 001 HMHG The Hatfield McCoy House Travelbug Inn. You will need to know the lock code for the container and that code is BUG. (Be aware that this location is under video surveillance so being stealthy isn’t even important here)

• Inside the Passport you will find a small box numbered for each of the 150 finds. When designing the Passport I tried to provide you a printed material that would help to make the adventure more fun. So if you are doing them in no specific order and want to skip over a hike then just watch the passport for the “hike” symbol and save that one for another day. There are several caches that you need the information in the passport to complete. There’s a crossword puzzle that you will need to fill in at locations along the GeoTour in order to get the final location of yet another cache. There’s a set of stickers included with your passport and a set of boxes for each of the caches that will build a story as you go to each location that will tell you the final of another cache and a few other surprises. Don’t forget to watch for the letterbox and get your stamp in the passport on the Letterbox page where we made a spot especially for this cache. You will find in the back of the passport the password for the Wifi at 001 HMHG in case you need it while here as well as a phone a friend number for Wendy in case you have any trouble along the way. And the passport comes with a printed copy of the decoder just for you to keep. Be sure to check out the website for how you can get the printed passport and a few “tokens” to boot.

• You need to log your geocache finds on Geocaching.com. And if you enjoyed the trail, How about some favorite points to encourage your friends to come to the area to complete the trail.

• Line of travel for the GeoTour is easy ! I have numbered them 001 HMHG and there are 150 caches total so you will start at 001 HMHG and if you do them in the line of travel that they are meant to be found you will end back at 150 HMHG.
