About This Item

This Geocoin is part of a statewide geocaching outreach project started by Montana State University and the Montana Institute on Ecosystems to celebrate the lauch of the Montana Climate Assessment (MCA), a scientific document published in September 2017. The document, which you can view at http://www.montanaclimate.org, includes climate information about Montana's water, forest and agriculture.

One MCA Geocoin will be launced in every Montana county. How many can you find?

I am so excited to have found this coin from far north of Tennessee in a cache so far south of Tennessee! Cool also to find an eco friendly coin in such an ecofriendly place. Costa Rica is determined to be easy on the environment. What a beautiful place! Thanks for sharing this part of your State with me :) I will place this in our TB Hotel in hopes of sending it on it's way to new adventures.
