Current Goal

GEO Turtle and his friends seek adventures. They wish to vist scenic places, historic sites and maybe even a University or two. Please write a short story of their travels (imagination encouraged) and submit one or two photos. Please add another traveling key chain or two. Remove one if you are inclined though but you must replace it with another. The original three must remain. They will embark on their journey on October 1, 2006 at Herkimer, NY. The only rule is that the three intrepid travelers remain together. Many may join them on their adventure, some may drop off along the way but always the original three remain. Their fate is in your hands.

And so, the band sets off to find adventure.

This is a traveling band of caching key chains: George (GEO) Turtle, Betsy Bear and Robo Dog. GEO turtle recently emerged from the drawer where has been sleeping for umpteen years (well more than five anyway) (see Photo). He gathered his friends though nobody knows where they were hiding.

He said, "We need some adventures. We can see wonderful sights, visit historic places and maybe even go to school. Someday we might even come home to Oakdale, NY. Maybe someday we can tell all of our adventure tales to children. Wouldn't children be fascinated with our stories. Who knows where we might go."

What an awesome TB!!!! If you don't mind waiting about a month, I am planning a visit to UNH in New Hampshire. I will take the gang out there.

Our traveling band of keys chains made their first stop at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. They were fascinated by the stories of great Baseball Legends like Babe Ruth and Lou Gherig. (OK, so they're NY Yankee Fans). They all agreed that baseball was better palyed by people. They invited a Hall of Fame KeyFob to join them. Tomorrow they will be placed in their first cache. No one will sleep tonight. The adventure begins - where it leads is up to you.
