CHAPAPOTE

Con este TB queremos percorrer moitos cachés, para lembrar o desastre ecolóxico provocado polo petroleiro Prestige. ===== ENGLISH =>=>=>=> By doing this TB we want to move along many caches, in memory of the ecologic disaster provoked by the infamus Prestige oil spill.

O 13 de novembro de 2002, o petroleiro “Prestige”, cargado con 7.7000 toneladas de chapapote, accidentouse cando navegaba fronte á Costa da Morte.
Sen ningunha coordinación, as autoridades someteron o barco a unha errática viaxe. Finalmente, o día 19 acabou partindo e afundíndose provocando unha das catástrofes medioambientais máis grandes da historia e a maior de Galicia. O único positivo foi a resposta dos voluntarios que limparon a costa, a Marea Branca e a resposta cidadá a través da plataforma NUNCA MÁIS.

El 13 de noviembre de 2002, el petrolero “Prestige”, cargado con 7.7000 toneladas de fuel, se accidentó cuando navegaba frente a A Costa da Morte.
Sin ninguna coordinación, las autoridades sometieron al barco a un errático viaje. Finalmente, el día 19 acabó partiendo y hundiéndose provocando una de las catástrofes medioambientales más grandes de la historia y la mayor de Galicia. Lo único positivo fue la respuesta de los voluntarios que limpiaron la costa, la Marea Blanca y la respuesta ciudadana a través de la plataforma NUNCA MÁIS.

On November 13, 2002, the “Prestige” tanker, loaded with 7.7000 tons of fuel, crashed while sailing in front of A Costa da Morte.
Without any coordination, the authorities subjected the ship to an erratic trip.
