About This Item

We caught this Mardi Gras bead necklace at the Knights of Sparta parade in New Orleans at Mardi Gras 2006. This was the first Mardi Gras after Hurricane Katrina. Officials of New Orleans decided to go ahead with the Mardi Gras celebrations because tourism is very important to the survival of the City of New Orleans. Laissez les bons temps roulez! Let the good times roll!
