This football travel bug is used to carry on a fun North / South game of football. Geocachers all over the state can help to play Offense or Defense for whichever team they want and may play for either team at different times.
Direction of Travel Currently Needed: North to Kickoff zone. Anywhere to score 7 for the South.

Northern End Zone: Warren, Sussex, Passaic, and Bergen counties
Southern End Zone: Salem, Cumberland, and Cape May counties
Northern Zone: Hunterdon, Morris, Essex, Hudson, Union, and Somerset
Kickoff Zone: Burlington, Ocean, Monmouth, Mercer and Middlesex counties.
Southern Zone: Camden, Gloucester, and Atlantic
Scoring:
6 points: If one geocacher takes the TB from one End Zone (North/South) to the other End Zone.
7 points: If multiple geocachers move the football to an end zone.
3 points: If the football comes out of one end zone and travels to the Kickoff zone and then back to same end zone.
Once left in an End Zone the Football must spend at least one night in a cache in that End Zone.
Once left in an End Zone the Football must move out of that End Zone through the hands of a different cacher than the one who left it there.
The Football must travel to and be placed and left for at least one night in a Kickoff zone cache before it can score points again in the End zone where it last scored.
The Football may travel directly from one End Zone directly to the other End Zone for a 6 point score with out stopping in the Kickoff Zone.
The Football may travel directly from one End Zone or Zone directly to the other Zone with out stopping in the Kickoff Zone and may then move from there to either End Zone for a 7 point score.
Scoring will occur after the Football moves out of the End Zone cache where it spent at least one night or more.
Orange is the official referee and scorekeeper. Orange also reserves the right to play for either team.
