Hip Little Dreams

This proxy tag is being sent out into the world in rememberance of a friend and the drummer for the Sons Of Champlin. Jim Preston held the Sons of Champlin's drum seat since 1972. His playing and singing was unmatched and made him a sought after session player. He performed with Moby Grape, Maria Muldaur, Dr. John, Lydia Pense and Cold Blood, The John Farey Band, Jon Hammond and the Late Rent Session Men, as well as the late Norton Buffalo. He recorded with the Sons, Bobby McFerrin, The West Texas Millionaires and Sheryl Crow to name only a few. Jim passed in July 2014, the band did a show to celebrate his life and the music he helped to create in Sept 2014 at Rancho Nicasio where both current and former band members played.

One of the reason I got into geocaching was having traveled several times a year from Seattle down to the Bay Area for shows the route got boring and I needed something to make it more interesting... Caching was the ticket. So beside introducing me to some great music and musicians, I learned about caching, gained a whole new group of friends and got to see things I never knew were just off the main drag. This is my little way to mesh my 2 extended families.

My Mission is to move all over, anywhere good music, love, and friends can be found. To all that find me Welcome to the Dance in our Circle Filled With Love, cause Loving is Why we're all here.
