Current Goal

This is Beth's first geocoin and it has a dual mission, one for 2007, and one for years beyond.
FOR 2007:Its mission is to cover as many miles as possible before Christmas, 2007. She is in a contest with her husband and son. Whoever's coin travels the most miles by December 24, 2007, will receive a bonus gift at their family Christmas celebration in 2007. Help her win by placing in frequently visited caches!
All three coins are starting in the same cache in South Carolina.
In 2008 and beyond: the goal of the coin is to travel as much as it can, particularly in interesting city locations, as Beth enjoys visiting cities.

Alas, unfortunately, I must apologize for NOT handling this coin quickly enough, as it was sent to me in 2007 while I was deployed to Balad Airbase (Anaconda), and due to MANY personal strifes I did very little caching while there. It returned to CA with me to my home area, and again I did very little to ZERO caching.

10 months in CA, and now I'm back to Iraq, on an IA billet, and lo and behold there's a MAGC event cache that I'm heading off to today. This guy is getting dropped into the event pool to hopefully make it's way back to Balad as planned.

To the owner, please forgive me in keeping your coin for so long, as it was NEVER really my intent to do such. It HAS been kept safely and lovingly however, in the time it has been with me.
