1. Visit Hiking Trails, Peaks, Campsites, Mountain huts etc any thing HIKING all over the world.
2. Come home to Simonskloof, the base of the GECKO trail, in South Africa
We chose a GECKO because we have a wild, rough and tough hiking trail with the same name. Matata"1" (Jurgen) built the trail over the last 15 years single handed. The trail has three different sections between 14 and 17km long with Simonskloof as base right in the middle - more info on: www.geckotrail.co.za
The Matata's love hiking, camping and mountains ;) !
We start off TB Gecko's mission with a mountain climbing trip to Switzerland in June 2018.
The wire GECKO was made by Ignatius in Montagu, 50km from Simonskloof. Ignatius makes a living by selling his wire art at the local Saturday Market.
