Current Goal

Now that I have been rescued from the Rubik cache, I want to rush around the world. Once I've travelled 50,000 km it will be time to reunited me with my family in the UAE.

Unfortunately Amal has been kidnapped while vacationing in Thailand. 😮 It seems that her spend-thrift ways were becoming an embarrassment to the local population so they resorted to imprisonment to curb her enthusiasm. 👎 It is not known if / when Amal will be released given the nature of her “crimes”. 😈 Unfortunately the cache in which Amal was last placed has been muggled and Amal has gone missing too. 😡 I take minimal comfort in knowing that I was not the last cacher to find the cache before it was muggled. Also my disappointment at Amal going missing is tempered by knowing that I also lost a trackable from the cache (the Nurses key ring), as did Liveonce. 🤕 Amal – come home when they release you please (and bring loads of presents for your family). 😉

Amal is having a wonderful time in Dubai before heading off on her international travels. 😁 As with all young girls she has enjoyed shopping at the Ibn Battuta Mall, as well as seeing the Burj Al-Arab Hotel and the DubaiLand development. 😎 There is a good chance she will see more of Dubai prior to meeting friends in Thailand next month. Amal sends love and loads of photo's. 😚 UPDATED to note that I will be in Thailand from September 6 to 16 - Amal is excited about the extra shopping time in Dubai!! Amal was feeling rather blue (get it? - - - blue 😁) being out in the desert heat 💀 for so long so I retrieved her with promises of a trip to Thailand 😎 in mid-August. She mentioned that she expected to be in the ‘blue key’ cache longer so was pleased to start her international travels so soon. SAFE TRAVELS!! 😛
