No idea where this thing actually "got lost". It was alleged to be in a TB Hotel up in the Bay Area, but there is some question in our minds as to whether that actually happened. In any event, it got marked as "Missing", at some point.
So, we are retrieving this for burial in an archived cache of ours, and hope that it turns up, some day. And here's the obligatory "rant" for situations like this...
WE HOPE THAT SOMEONE IS JUST BEING VERY SLOW TO LOG THIS, OR THAT THEY FORGOT ABOUT IT, OR MAYBE DIDN'T REALIZE WHAT IT REALLY WAS; IF THIS IS THE CASE, PLEASE RETRIEVE IT, AND THEN DROP IT INTO ANOTHER CACHE AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE. THANK YOU!
HOWEVER...
IF THIS WAS TAKEN WITH NO INTENTION OF MOVING IT ALONG, WHOEVER TOOK IT IS A THIEF!! WE OWN THIS TRAVELER; WE SENT IT OUT INTO THE WORLD FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO ENJOY AND TO MOVE ALONG. IT CANNOT BE SOLD OR ADOPTED; IT CAN'T EVEN BE SHOWN TO OTHERS WITHOUT RISKING THEM FINDING OUT THAT THIS WAS STOLEN. THE SOLUTION, OF COURSE, IS TO GET A CONSCIENCE AND DROP THIS INTO A CACHE SOON.
