Summer Winter coin 2

We are often reminded by our friends in far away places of the size of our planet. Getting progressively smaller and more explored thanks to caching - the activity of caching brings people from distant places together in a community where we can all learn about each other.

This coin is inspired by thoughts about the different experience people have of the season in December in the Southern and Northern Hemispheres. As the season changes to summer here in the Southern Hemisphere, our friends across the equator are starting to feel the weather turn to cooler weather.

Done in a shiny silver with sand-blasted base metal, the gleaming yellow side looks too hot to touch and the blue icy cold to the touch! A great design and great use of decorative features. If you like this coin, make sure to check out the two tone silver/gold finish edition.
