This GeoCoin wants to be discovered by as many people as possible!
In February of 2008, this GeoCoin's owner spent four weeks in Savannah on a business trip. Having learned about Geocaching a year earlier, the Coin Owner had a great time exploring the Atlantic coast of Georgia. His coworkers were very generous in allowing him to use the vehicle during evenings and weekends.
As a thank-you, the Coin Owner bought each colleague a thank-you gift of a GeoCoin. Now not all of those along for the trip were Cachers, and the Owner knew this, but wanted to get a little something anyway. One coworker was retired from the US Air Force, so this coin should have been an appropriate gift.
But it got returned... and not just returned, but completely REJECTED.
"I have no need for that. Yeah, thanks for the thought, but I don't want that thing."
Oh, the coin was devestated!!! He has been hiding in a desk drawer for over a year, drowning his sorrows in White Out and sleeping under Post It Notes. He is now ready to see the world, and feel the love of GeoCachers everywhere!
Please take this coin and let him see the world, but more importantly, please let him be "Discovered" by as many people as possible! Take this coin to GeoGatherings and show him off to your GeoFriends.
