Smth Blue Bound for Australia

From Northern Sweden to Brisbane in Australia to greet my masters school mate from 30 years ago...

Once upon a time in Australia two girls starting primary school became friends. Then one day in December 1977 one of the girls had to go back home to Sweden She moved way up north, north of the Polar Circle.
A snowy December day 31 years later the travel bug "Smth Blue Bound for Australia" begins it's journey from the girl in northern Sweden to the girl in Australia she once knew. Reaching her in Brisbane is the goal of "Smth Blue".

Hopefully it wont take "Smth Blue" some thirty years to reach the girl in Brisbane, which is what it took for the two girls to meet again, they have actually met again! The Australian girl managed to find her long lost schoolmate and phoned her one spring morning 2006. She was on her way to northern Sweden that summer and so they met. Wow. But the girl in Sweden wont be able to visit Australia for long so she now sends "Smth Blue" off to visit her old friend down under.

"Smth Blue" is more of a worm which is good since the shortest way actually would be to dig through Mother Earth. The two girls are as far away from each other as can be - on the opposite side of the world!

Oh, "Smth Blue" has a message to you: Please be careful since I am made out of clay! Keep me in the little plastic bag. If I would break, I can continue my journey in pieces in the plastic bag...
