About This Item

Photo before the Angel goes travelling.

The Angel of the North is 65 feet high with 175 foot wingspan. It stands on the site of a former colliery pithead baths. As a kid I have many memories of visiting my Grandparents who lived in a pit village on the NE coast. I loved long walks exploring the local fields, denes and beach with my Granda and the dog. For my husband and I Northumberland/County Durham is our favourite part of the country for holidays.
