Current Goal

Travel throughout Iowa in search of others from my era (1956-1961) involved in high school and/or college track and field and make contact with travel bug owner to share old memories.

About This Item

Travel bug is my 1st place medal from the 1961 Missouri Valley Conference Track High Hurdle competition. I hope there are some competitors who might remember our glory days so we can share our memories!

I graduated from Sentral of Fenton, IA High School in 1961. Yes, Sentral is spelled right. I was never out for track, because we did not get track in our school until 2 years after I graduated. I played Basketball and our team went to State in 1960. I think this should go to Iowa, so I will take it this weekend. Good luck in making some memories!
