THE FLAMINGO: The Bugsy Siegel hotel in Las Vegas that help build the gambling and entertainment mecca that it is today. It is also the mascot for the South East Texas Geocachers. The city is famous for Elvis Presley, Celine Dion, Siegfried and Roy, Cirque de Soleil and gambling. Unknown to many, is that the city is also a great location for Geocachers. There are virtuals and micros on the Strip and many traditional caches around town. Within a short driving distance are scenic locals like Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon and Charleston Mountain. A bit farther away is the Valley of Fire. These locations also have many geocaches. If you are into numbers, you can collect 1000 on the ET Highway. This Flamingo hotel card would like to travel thru out Europe visiting many Geocaches. It is also a welcome from cachers in SE Texas and an invitation to visit Sin City.
