Current Goal

Polly wants to travel to pirate themed caches or visit cache sites owned by fellow Pirates when possable. However if thar be no pirates about any cache site large enough to take her will do! Please post pictures of her travels so I can see her progress. Please place her in active caches and try to skip the seldom visited ones as she needs to keep moving.

TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY... heard some noise and am gi'in' some kinda ad'ance notice on the in'asion o' menacin' pirates ont' Nw Ohio's Maumee Ri'er, Bean Creek and Lake Erie waterways... mainly t' spirit away with all the booty stored in our many caches... Treasures stored in chests be particularly 'ulnerable... as with all good hides, X marks the spot... Moved Polly to an island in the middle of Lake Erie to be closer to her Pirate Ships. Hopefully one of her mates will come to Pelee Island Canada to help her on her way. She is in the third of three multi caches which you have to start at the Pelee Island Light House to have the clue to the Pirate Map to find her as the Treasure - arrrrggggg!! If you are coming from the US - remember your passport or Northern Hemisphere card before you go! She is in Canada after all.

Yarrrr ye maties - Me and me hardee band of shipmates picked up our new plundering friend Polly Wants a Cache while out on a fathers day geocaching crew fun day (Dad's new name is Captain Blue Mustache). We Steered out trusty1986 Ford E150 Econoline gallion (Van) towards the many hidden treasures in Westerville Ohio and let me wee shipmates pick which way the wind should blow us. We were all shooting our muskets in the air since we finally snatched a TB from buried treasure - we arrrr no longer TB virgins! Now, we needs to all learn ourselves more about what a Pirate Cache is so we can properly send our new matey on her way to other ports of call! Before she departs arrrr company we took the liberty of a photo with our own Dread Pirate Andrew, the youngest crew member on our ship who is particularly fond of Pirates and has his whole room decked out like a pirates ship. Me wee matey is a true believer in pirates! Avast ye shipmates we will let Polly go - she must continue on her mission! See you on Dead Mans Chest Polly - arrrgally arrrgally arrrrr!

I jus' happn'd to be trying to chart a course on a new map I happened to "come by" when I found a scribble in the very lightest ink in the margins about about a stash of swag fit fer a pirate such as meself. So me and the Pirate Queen took a little trip in the Jolly boat to see if we could plunder some fine coins and jewels and the like. YARrrrr!! We found the treasure just as described. An' out of nowhere a Parrot flies down out of the trees and lands on me queen's shoulder. We'll let him hang around untill he's ready to fly off again. Thanks for the booty. YARRRR!!!

We heartys (that'd be me first mate, CJ an' me) be delighted to discover Polly hidin' near a one-room-schoolhouse... certain, of course that she'd ne'er set FOOT in such a place, but hidn' thar be a fine crafty choice indeed! We always enjoys findin' pirate-like treasure 'n bugs 'n such. Have joined up with Pirates of the Caribbean 2 (TB #AHRQ5A) an' settin' sail at sunrise fer parts west fer a mighty special reunion o' the brotherhood...(of sorts). Aye, we be hopin' our Ohio pirate mates like Capt. B an' his O'Hara Cashe Crew will be trawlin' fer treasure an will be overjoyed to discover treasure o' such exceptional value an' relevance!
