MATRIX is in honor of my uncle and those serving in our nations military. It travels with the memories of those who have made the ultimate sacrafice. WE WILL NEVER FORGET!

MATRIX- The A-10 Thunderbolt II is an American single-seat, twin-engine, straight-wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic for the United States Air Force to provide close air support (CAS) of ground forces by attacking tanks, armored vehicles, and other ground targets with a limited air interdiction capability. It is the first U.S. Air Force aircraft designed exclusively for close air support.

The A-10's official name comes from the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt of World War II, a fighter that was particularly effective at close air support. The A-10 is more commonly known by its nickname "Warthog" or simply "Hog".

NightKnight and I spotted this beautiful guy today. I got a tour of the A10 at the Aerospace museum at McClellan Field. Facinating plane, it's the one I'd want to hear overhead if I needed protection!!

This poor TB was crammed into conditions much too small. After almost battling to extract it, I decided it needed to be moved on to more comfortable quarters. I'll file the necessary documentation upon relocation to its next assignment. 👍
