The goal is to visit high mountains (or places) around the world. Please post photos of where you place it if you can, as teachers in Nevada U.S.A. are using the information for instructional purposes.
This travel bug began in a summer class for teachers, called NESSI (Nevada Earth Space Science Initiative). It began its journey during a week long trip to the Nevada/Utah (U.S.A.) border with 70 teachers from the Reno, NV area.
The teachers plan to use this (along with the other 7 travel bugs planted) to help teach about earth science in their elementary, middle, and high school classrooms.
Please post photos if you can, as that will really help the children visualize the areas that are plotted on maps in the classroom.
