About This Item

Waldeck Gold Coin

Waldeck was a little principality, free state and rural German district withstanding all the wars and conflicts from the 11th till the 20th century without beeing conquered. 1974 it was mergered into the recent German district Waldeck- Frankenberg during the german territory reform. So bureaucrats finally accomplished what knights and even tanks couldn't reach during all the times before. 

This is the second prototype of a Waldeck Geocoin made by John Hannibal Smith. It is traveling by using the code of my EC Master gold Coin.
