To travel througout Europe where the Celts were to have lived. The word "Celtic" refers to people who lived in Britain and Western Europe from 500 BC and 400 AD. Celts were of the Iron Age and lived in small villages which were led by warrior chiefs.
The Raith Gras incorporates the Celtic symbols for Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. This equilateral cross was worn to balance the changing elemental forces of the seasons and achieve Grace and Favour Throughout the Year. On the reverse side of the coin you can see a celtic knot symbol. The Celtic knot symbol is also referred to as the mystic knot, or the endless knot. The spiritual meaning of this symbol eludes to beginnings and endings. In viewing these beautiful knots we cannot see a beginning or and end, and therefore we are reminded of the timeless nature of our spirit.

Happened to pay a visit to Tintagel Castle just a few days after picking up this geocoin. Lots of Celtish history in this part of Cornwall and the coin hasn't been here before so it was the perfect location to drop it off.
