About This Item

Key chain is from the resort we stayed at this fall for our family fall weekend together.
The Bug-Bee Hive Resort in Paynesville, MN - great place!
Each year for the past 12 years, we have adventured somewhere in Minnesota to experience the beauty of our state and share in the fun of family ties.
5 years ago we added caching to our trips. We launch a new travel bug each year.
With half of our family in the opposite end of the country, we always ask that our bugs make it to a cache in the Cocoa Beach area of Florida for a yearly visit.

My daughter is 3 and was excited to get this even though she has no idea what it is. When I was listing the things in the containter for her to trade, I happened to say, "Oh cool a travel bug" and suddenly she wanted it and I realized it was because I said the word, "bug" and she is fascinated with them. I had to pry it from her hands just to log it in.....while she is sleeping I will take it and hide it so I can put it in another cache.
