This trackable is in memory of my mum (1935-2007) and dad (1932-2010), We scattered their ashes at Castle Hill, overlooking Huddersfield.
The tower is also known as Victoria Tower, stands 900 feet above sea level and dominates the local landscape, providing spectacular, and often windswept views.
The site is a scheduled ancient monument, its history going back 4000 years. the site was developed as an iron age hill fort, surrounded by defensive ditches and ramparts.
The present tower was built to commenorate Queen Victorias Diamond Jubilee.
I would like the TB to be well travelled as my mum and dad used to like to travel especially Dorset, lake district, and once went to Cyprus, so maybe placed at some other ancient monuments.
Also the ultimate aim would be for the TB to get to Gibralter, my mum and dad always wanted to go there as this is where my dad was stationed after completing his national service in Korea (1953) with the Duke of Wellingtons 3rd Battalion
