My mission is to travel by road around North America, returning periodically to whatever cache is nearest to my Old Northern Virginia Homstead, N 38° 50' W 077° 08'.
I grew up near N 38° 50' W 077° 08'. (GPSrs didn't have decimals back then, so we didn't know where we were, exactly.) Every summer we packed up the camping gear in the station wagon and spent three weeks driving from camp ground to camp ground visiting the States and Canada, using an ancient device called "a map" to find our way around. To celebrate those fondly remembered trips, I'm turning loose this green station wagon to tour the country. Let me know where you went On the Road.
