This travel bug is dedicated to our daughter, Anabel, born July 16, 2011 in Gentofte Denmark.
Her mother is Danish and her father is American. This travel bug is starting its journey in the castle ruins of
Hammershus on the island of Bornholm, Denmark. It begins here, because Anabel's journey begins here, in a way. Her parents had their first kiss here on June 11, 2006. We wish this travel bug to continue traveling the globe and get into the "Traveler's Century Club." This means it must hit 100 countries and then return home to Bornholm in the Baltic Sea! Please help! :o)

Recently, this travel bug was picked up by AlexLandsberg in Germany. He notified us to say the plastic binky (sut) was missing. Before we could ask to send a replacement, he got a new one and attached it with a new string!! We are SO GRATEFUL to AlexLandsBerg for his thoughtfulness and generosity. In March, 2012, he took Anabel Genesis from Kandern, Gernamny via Freiburg, Mannheim, Stuttgart to Munich. Here is a picture of it leaving the station in Kandern, and one of our new friend, AlexLandsberg. Thank you, Alexander!
