Alpha Company, Unmanned Aerial Systems Training Battalion (UASTB) is the U.S. Army's premier training unit for teaching Soldiers to both fly and maintain Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) located at the 'Black Tower' at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. Commanded by Army Captain Joseph D. Sage (since promoted to Major) and First Sergeant Corey L. Houston; this company contained over 600 Soldiers at its greatest numbers and, over their command, trained over 1,500 Soldiers to successfully serve in both Iraq and Afghanistan. This coin was given to Soldiers for excellence in their performance.
