Current Goal

To travel to all the locations listed in FEMA CA-TF-6's National deployments. It would be very cool if you took a photo of the location you found the coin and post it to the log. I would like this Bug/Coin to re-visit all the locations that CA-TF-6 was deployed, remembering all the people the team saved and all the people who were lost in the disasters that were activated in. The final goal would be to return this coin back to CA-TF-6 in Riverside Ca. with all the logs, photos of the coins travels. For more info on FEMA Task Force 6 just Google CA-TF-6, all the contact info is on the website. Please, please don't take this coin for yourself; it has a important mission that must be completed! If you like this coin contact CA-TF-6 directly they will more than likely get you one. It may cost you 6.00 dollars. The team has no idea I have set this coin out on a mission, so you may have to explain to them what is going on. They will most likely be very happy to know their Task Force coin is re-tracking their accomplishment. The coin started its travels from the Casa De Fruita RV Park in Hollister Ca. NOTE: If you can't help in this important mission by moving the coin on closer to its goals, please leave it for someone else to send it on! One last thing, why did I place a CA-TF-6 coin when I'm a member of CA-TF-3? Well we have ordered our own Task Force 3 coins, they are not in yet! I will send out a CA-TF-3 coin soon. I have worked with TF-6, they are an amazing group of men and women that have saved untold lives around the world! I think this is a great thank you for their work! Just get the coin into the cities or area of deployment! Take a picture and post!!! after all locations are logged, it should go home to Riverside Ca. at Task Force 6 HQ!

  • About This Item

    FEMA CA-TF-3 Logo

This is a Travel Bug in a plastic cover along with a official FEMA Task Force 6 Coin, on the back is the FEMA / Department of Homeland Security Logo. Use the ID# of the Travel Bug to log your find but don't separate the coin from the Bug! The Plastic cover has a CA-TF-3 sticker on it so TF-6 will know what team placed this coin! Here is a link to Task Force 6's website to learn more about the team! http://www.riversideca.gov/fire/usar/response.asp and here is a link to My Task Force website CA-Task Force 3 http://www.usar.org/catf3/, I’m sure that this has never been done with a Task Force coin ever! There are a total of 28 Task Forces in the US and 8 of them are in California. Most all the Teams have coins! maybe other teams will send some out into the world!
Thank you for helping in this Bugs mission, just like the one we are deployed too.

Sorry I didn't notice the note to only take it if I could move it directly toward one of its goals. Yes, Casa de Fruta is a good launching place for - well - anywhere/everywhere back east. Too bad I'm just going to Santa Cruz. I'll bring it back to Casa on Friday and it can go on from there.

"Casa De CA-TF-3" is CF4ZP9's ( FEMA Task Force 6 Coin )'s starting point in it's mission to re-visit all places CA-TF-6 has been deployed to Disasters. I do hope I'm doing this right, it's my first time sending a coin out into the world on a mission!
