Discovered during "Midwest Geobash 2024 - 20th Year!" (GCAA9KK) https://coord.info/GCAA9KK. I either covertly snagged this TB or we shared a nice chat and traded TB codes. Either way, it was fun seeing you. Thanks for sharing this with everyone to discover!

We were visiting from the Village of Riverside, IL, a suburb of Chicago. Riverside is regarded as the first planned community in the United States designed in 1869 by Frederick Law Olmsted (known for Central Park in New York) and Calvert Vaux.

Fun fact, we all have Olmstead to thank for having to mow our lawns. Olmstead, a landscape architect, felt it was important for Americans to have large beautiful front lawns. Our houses are set back and most garages (some previously horse stables) are set far back behind the homes. Thus, Olmstead stressed the importance for Americans to take pride in maintaining their lawns.
