Robbie's Travel Bugs to Visit; places near and dear to her.
Some she has traveled to and others that she will never, now, have the chance to visit.
We wish her TB to
dance her memory across The World.

Fletcher, Vermont to visit the town where her brother lives
Garden Grove, California ~ A place of fond Spiritual Memories
Hawaii ~ Where she visited in 2004 and longed to return to swim with dolphins
Disneyland and Disney World ~ Two of her favorite places on earth
Titusville and Daytona, Florida ~ Places visited with Family and she got to live for a while
Hartford, Connecticut ~ The place of her birth and where she made her first best friend, learned her first line dance
Sedona, Arizona ~ A beautiful place that she has visited in dreams
Great Britain ~ Where she toured in 1998 along with Internationally renowned Line Dancers

Ireland, Scotland and Wales ~where she longed to go, but never had the chance
Anywhere Near Line Dance Events and Renaissance Fairs
Europe, which was on her Wish List to travel to someday

Portugal ~ Robbie was half Portuguese and half French~ her biological father came from Corgas

RobynApril's Traveling Butterfly
After Robbie was killed in 2008, her dad and mom began a chapter of THE COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS: TCF East Of The River CT.
The Compassionate Friends embrace the butterfly as one of our symbols--a sign of hope to us that our children are living in another dimension with greater beauty and freedom, and that we may be able to build a new life after the death of our beloved children.
This Butterfly Trackable is attached to a laminated card, sharing part of the story of RobynApril Rivard-Darby Maguire, who died tragically, at 28 years old, in 2008.

My daughter and I sought out Robyn's memorial cache to pick up the travel bug, as my wife was planning a trip to Sedona, Az. As it turned out, someone had stolen the cache to the dismay of the cache owners. Luckily, we were able to reach out to Robyn's mom, and meet face to face to receive this new travel bug so that we could carry it on it's way. We have also agreed to help them build a new cache in a safe location so that someday maybe this little guy can make it's way back home. Once again, Robyn was able to bring complete strangers together and forge a new friendship. I hope whoever finds this next is able to do the same.
