Bedankt!
This lovely sheep is now travelling the world to meet her peers. She'd like to stay close to the flocked herd, because she thinks this long journey is a little frightening. Please take good care of her and place her in a suitable cache. Thanks!
Vielen Dank!
Blaat started her journey at Schiphol Airport (Amsterdam, Netherlands). She was surpised to meet a family member here, as there are not many meadows in this area. On board of the plane she was a bit scared, but she calmed down when the plane flew above the clouds. Those reminded her of a herd, closely flocked together.
Before Blaat was dropped in a cache, she got the chance to see the landscape of the island of Fuerteventura. In search of some relatives she visited several caches. Some were close to the sea and she realized she didn't like the salty water. She didn't meet her family in the desert, but on the way to the beautiful village of Pajara the search was succesful. There they were, the family members she'd been looking for. After a quick picture her journey continued.
Knowing she was not the only sheep on the island, she agreed to be dropped in a cache, accopanied by a furry friend. Then the waiting began. After some time a cacher discovered her in the cache, but decided to leave her there. After being in the cache for almost a month she was picked up by a kind cacher.
After quite some time, Blaat was dropped in a cache in Germany. She was back at an airport again. Were there any other sheep accopanying her? At least she was not alone, as there were over 20 other TB's in this cache. After some time she was piked up again by a cacher who took her north. She even got to visit Denmark. She hadn't planned to go that far north. She was surpised tot meet so many nice cachers there. She returned to Germany and has spend a lovely Chirstmas at a kind familiy. It makes her want to return home even more.
It took her nearly a year to get there. She travelled around in The Netherlands for quite some time before ending up in a cache near her home, which was her primary goal. She was picked up by her owner on a rainy winters day. After drying up and some TLC she went back on the road again. She expierenced a similar trip to her first one, flying high above the clouds. This time however, she was dropped on the island of Lanzarote, close to island of her first drop off cache. It didn't take her long to travel back to mainland Europe. Somewhere along the way she got infected by the travelling virus, so she decided she wanted to see more of the whole wide world.
After travelling aroud in Europe some more, one cacher took her across the Atlantic. The flight over there was much longer then she had experienced ever before. After the safe landing she noticed a totally different scenery. "Are there any of my peers here?", she was wondering. So far she hasn't met any of them yet. Instead she got the chance to visit a place every cacher and trackable dream of: Geocaching HQ! Will she spend Christmas and New Years there or will anyone pick her up before that? Let's see how her adventures continue.
