Dagturd

This is a Boy Scouts of America coin with a hole drilled through it attached with a chain to the travel bug.  Name "Dagturd" short for  "Do a Good Turn Daily" which is the overall theme.  On one side of the coin is the first line to the scout oath which begins 'On my honor I will do my best' plus the scout motto, 'Be Prepared' and on the reverse side it says "Secretly transfer me to your right pocket each day after your good turn has been done". 

Destination: I would like to see it delivered to a geocache near or in the William D. Boyce Park, near Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.  William D. Boyce was the founder of Boy Scout in America.  After it has arrived in or near Boyce Park whoever might be the one to rescue it from the cache would keep it and start passing it on person to person to others after doing at least one good turn each day for ten days - on the 10th day or after doing a good turn to the tenth person then in turn give the 10th person the coin, with the challenge that they too would keep now actively look for serving others and transfer the coin from their left to right pocket at least once daily after doing a good turn and they too would give the coin to another person with the same instructions and challenge to keep passing the coin along as they have completed 10 days of good turns.  In so doing I hope that we will become more aware and responsive to opportunities to help others and promote the tradition of good will, service,  love, and respect to all humanity. 

On my Honor coin with Do a Good Turn on reverse side.  One side says "On My Honor I Will Do My Best" and "Be Prepared" on the reverese side it says, "Secretly transfer me to your right pocket each day after your good turn has been done"
