About This Item

This is an AT ( Appachian trail ) bear . This bear was given to me when i walked the AT in 2010 ( April 4 th til sept 14 th )  .... 2178 miles plus a lot more  ( into town and back ). The hiker was an older gentleman ... who was sick . ( bad water ) I had extra meds for this so i shared . 3 days later he was much better . He caught up to me in Marion Va. At the Rogers state park shelter . He said he could not thank me enough . and wanted me to have this ... as his way of saying thank you .  He did carving ( wood and hiking staffs to make money while he was hiking the trail .  So what better way to keep the dream alive .. Please keep me going .. I have to eat and move from park to park and all the rec. areas.
