Hallo liebe Reisende,

ich möchte gerne einmal um die Welt reisen - und zwar nach Australien, genauer nach Sydney, Stadtteil Manly, Little Manly Cove, Geocache: GC3DFWK: "Doctor Who - The Impossible Astronaut", http://coord.info/GC3DFWK.

Auf meinem Weg möchte ich kleine Andenken sammeln, sei es als kleiner Anhänger an mir selbst (wasserfest, nicht zu groß und zu auffällig: ZOLL!) oder in Form von Fotos von euch mit mir vor besonderen Orten, an denen ich vorbeikomme.

Wenn ich mein Ziel in Manly erreicht habe, würde ich mich über eine Benachrichtigung meines Owners freuen. Dann erhalte ich eine neue Aufgabe.

Dear travellers,

I'd like to travel the world. More exactly I'd like to go to Australia, NSW, Sydney, suburb Manly, little Manly Cove, geocache: GC3DFWK: "Doctor Who - The Impossible Astronaut", http://coord.info/GC3DFWK.

On my way I want to collect little memories, either in terms of small souvenirs attached to myself (waterproof, not too big or conspicuous: CUSTOMS!) or photos of you and me in special places.

Once reached my goal in Manly I'd appreciate a tiny note to my owner. I will then get a new goal.

Die 'Little Manly Cove', genauer die angrenzende Stuart Street, war für knapp 8 Wochen im Jahr 2012 mein Zuhause in Australien. Leider wusste ich damals nichts von dem schönen Hobby Geocaching und möchte nun diesen Travelback an meiner Stelle noch einmal nach Manly reisen lassen.

In Australien, und speziell in Sydney und an der Ostküste, habe ich mit die schönste Zeit meines Lebens verbracht. Begeistert haben mich nicht nur die schöne, weitläufige Landschaft, das Meer direkt vor den Füßen und die wunderbare Metropole Sydney, sondern insbesondere die freundlichen Menschen, denen ich überall in diesem Land begegnet bin.

Eine kleine Anekdote zu meiner ersten Busfahrt in Sydney: Ich wollte von der Nähe des Darling Harbour, wo mein Arbeitsplatz war, nach Bondi Beach, wo ich mir eine Wohnung anschauen wollte. Die Gepflogenheit das Ticket schon vor Antritt der Busfahrt in einem kleinen Kiosk zu kaufen, kannte ich noch nicht. Ich stieg also ein und fragte einen Passagier, ob der Bus nach Bondi führe. Er bejahte das und stempelte just in diesem Augenblick seine Fahrkarte für mich ab. Einzigartig!

Ich vermisse Australien, Sydney, Manly und ganz besonders die vielen Freunde, die ich dort gefunden habe. Australia, I love you!

Der Aktivierungstag hier in Deutschland entspricht genau dem Tag, an dem ich 2012 meinen Flug nach Australien antrat.

The 'Little Manly Cove', more precisely the nearby Stuart Street, was my home address in Australia for about 8 weeks in 2012. Unfortunately geocaching wasn't on my list of interest back then. I want to let this tiny travelbug travel to Manly because I won't make it in the near future.

In Australia and especially Sydney and the eastcoast I had the best time in my life. I wasn't just wowed by the great landscape, the sea at my feet and the wonderful city of Sydney but particularly surprised by the friendly people I met throughout the whole country.

Just a small anecdote. My first bus trip in Sydney: I wanted to go from my workplace in Darling Harbour to Bondi Beach, where I wanted to live in the first place. The practice of getting your ticket in the next small shop wasn't familiar to me. So I just jumped on the bus and asked a passenger if this bus was going to Bondi. He affirmed and in the same moment he 'stamped' his ticket for me. Absolutely unique! (Thanks for that one, mate!)

I miss Australia, Sydney, Manly and even more I miss my friends over there. Australia, I love you!

The activation date is exactly the date I began my trip to Australia back in 2012.
