The Soyuz's first appearance was at the YRGC Launch Party held November 6, 2013. It was the York Region Geocachers Club's inaugural event for which this paper mache rocket was the log. The Club's Launch coincided with the "Geocaching in Space" celebration of Astronaut Rick Mastracchio's liftoff for his 6-month mission on the International Space Station with TB5JJN1, hitching a ride! Every geocacher that attended were awarded a “Geocaching in Space” souvenir represented on this TB..
