To travel to as many military locations across the world as possible. When possible, I would like to be seen in the hands of our military veterns or have my picture taken with military equipment. What ever you do, DO NOT CAUSE YOURSELF TO BE ARRESTED, DO NOT TAKE PICTURES OF CLASSIFIED EQUIPMENT. Please take pictures of me along my travels. I would not mind picking up some regional souviniers along the way, but try and keep them small to allow me to fit into as many caches as possible. Keychain souviniers would be ideal to collect as I travel the world.
My owner loves to travel and I am helping him to see places he can not get to yet and maybe give him some vacation destination ideas. I am not meant to be kept, please move me from cache to cache.
I am an oval dog tag with the national flag of the United States on it. I am starting out with a blue dog tag from the US Veterans Affairs with the phone number for the Veterans Crisis Line. My owner is a veteran himself spending time overseas. He hopes that I will bring some awareness to the unseen and little talked about wounds that our members of the Armed Forces deal with. My owner will update my page with more information and a picture or 2 later.
He has released me at the begining of the US holiday season. It is around this time that my owner, while enlisted, was told about watching out for his fellow brothers and sisters and instructed on signs and symptoms of depression and risk of suicide. In the military he was told that the highest suicide rates were around the holidays. As we move into the holiday season, please remember our brave men and women that are away from their friends, families, and other loved ones.
