Diese Gecoin wurde anlässlich des MEGA-Events Nacht der Vulkane 2013 (GC21CET) herausgegeben und stellt auf der Vorderseite den Lavakeller in Mendig dar und auf der Rückseite einen dort zu sehenden 2,8 Tonnen schweren Mühlstein, der als Botschafter unserer Region bereits auf 4 Weltausstellungen war. Ebenso wie der riesige Stein soll diese Geocoin die Expo-Städte London,Paris und Hannover besuchen und außerdem möglichst viele Caches in Mendig und Umgebung.

 

This geocoin was issued on the occasion of the MEGA event Nacht der Vulkane (Night of the Volcanoes) 2013 (GC21CET) and depicts the lava caverns in Mendig on the front and a 2.8-ton millstone on the back, which has already been to 4 world exhibitions as an ambassador for our region. Just like the giant stone, this geocoin is intended to visit the Expo cities of London, Paris and Hanover and also as many caches as possible in Mendig and the surrounding area.
