I would like for this trackable to travel the world. I would like if it went to some of the areas of the United States where I was stationed: Great Lakes, IL; San Diego, CA, Pensacola, FL; Waltham, MA; Norfolk, VA; and Dam Neck Virginia. I would also like it to travel to some of the places that I have been: Dubai, UAE; Jebel Ali, UAE; Nova Scotia; Columbia; Hong Kong; Malaysia; Perth, Australia; Hobart, Tasmania; St. Thomas; Panama; Rota, Spain; Rhodes, Greece; and others.
I was in the Navy for 12 years. I was a First Class Petty Officer, Surface Warfare Qualified (FC1(SW) / E-6) when I got out of the Navy. I was a Fire Control Technician. I worked on the NATO Sea Sparrow Missile System, Close-In Weapon System, and Rolling Airframe Missile System. I served on the USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) during it's maiden deployment. I then served as a recruiter in Waltham, MA, for Naval Recruiting District New England. My last command was the USS Kearsarge (LHD-3). I did 3 deployments to the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and the Global War on Terrorism. I received a Combat Action Medal from when we came under attack in Jordan by Al Qaeda terrorists. I was a Golden Shellback which means I sailed across the International Date Line at the Equator. This trackable is attached to one of my First Class Petty Officer pins that I would wear on my command ball cap.
