Swedish vikings
The people who lived in Scandinavia between approximately 800-1100 AD has come to be known as the Vikings, and the time period for the vikingage. The word "Viking" is thought to mean "the Gulf", ie someone who lived in or used to reside in bays and fjords. In the vikingage the word Viking came to mean "pirate" because northerners became best known for their forays. But the Vikings were also very skilled tradesmen, artisans, storytellers, diplomats and explorers.
One thousand years later this special Swedish viking likes to travel back to his home in Lomma, Sweden, with your help. Thank you!
