This geocoin is dedicated to the former village of Eythra.
Eythra was a village near Leipzig, situated on the river Weiße Elster. In the '80s Eythra, with its thousend-year-old-history, fell victim to the mining of brown coal. The area of the former open-cast mine has been turned into a lake called Zwenkauer See.
