Ecuador has the largest concentration of hummingbirds on earth, in fact, 40% of all known species can be found there. Hummingbird migrations have been tracked at over 4000 miles, so this adventure from the American northwest should be nothing for this little bird. Like so many other animals, habitat destruction remains the biggest threat, please cache responsibly.
