The NCEES Surveyor Trackable

 Geocachers and Professional Surveyors (P.S.) share a passion for technology and the outdoors. They both use GPS and surrounding clues to locate hidden marks or objects. But there is a difference. Professional surveyors take that passion for technology and the outdoors to a higher level and turn it into a career. The NCEES Surveyor Trackable captures that shared passion and brings the surveying profession to life for geocachers. Once you find an NCEES Surveyor Trackable, use its unique code to log it and keep it moving by placing it in another geocache. Before you know it, it will be exploring and mapping the great outdoors just like a Professional Surveyor (P.S.).

The NCEES Surveyor Trackable photo contest has ended, as of June 1, 2015. Please continue the fun and take photos at a National Geodetic Survey (NGS) marker and share it on Facebook or Twitter using the hashtag #PSnoboundaries! Visit geocaching.com/mark to learn about locating NGS survey markers.

NCEES #PSnoboundaries PHOTO CONTEST: The NCEES Surveyor Trackable Photo Contest is solely sponsored by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands who are 18 years and older at time of entry. Entry period for the contest commences at 12:01 a.m. (EDT) on March 17, 2015, and expires at 11:59 PM (EDT) on June 1, 2015. Void where prohibited.     Dropping this TB off in a pretty cool cache in Louisville KY. I brought it back from Memphis TN where I spent a week attending the Mega World Wide CacheFest 2023. I had a BLAST all week. Good luck little guy!

    Stopped back into Kentucky's oldest cache to swap out TB's. Sadly, all of them were missing. I think someone recently picked them up and just has not logged them yet. I did pick up a Path Tag, and left six trackables.

    Stopped back into this one to swap out TB's. I forgot this one is not a safe place to pull off, not a good dry cache,and not big enough for the way I repackage TB's. So, I took the ones it had, and I will drop extras in another down the road.

    Just stopping in to check on my HUGE TB Hotel. Just now realized that I didn't log picking up a bunch of TB's to take to CacheFest 2023 in Memphis. I will try and get that straightened out tonight. And drop off a bunch of travelers. Taking them to visit some attractions in Louisville right now. And yes. The tiny house in the photo...IS the TB Hotel!!!

    LOVE this cache. Sadly, I think I am going to stop leaving TB's in it though. Sooooo many very young kids and newbies hit this one that TB's are always going M.I.A. All of the missing ones were cleared out just a couple of months ago. The C.O. even wrote a note on the lid about it. Now, back up to 8 M.I.A. ATLEAST 4 of which I just placed in it a couple of weeks ago.

    Cool Free Little Library but..., not much of a geocache. Log only hanging from the roof. No container. So willing to bed a kid that doesn't even know about geocaching picked up the TB. Oh well. Onward!!!
