Current Goal

Travel to Romania and then back to the UK. The journey Neville himself made before coming into my life.

About This Item

This travelbug is in honour of Neville, a 3 year old Romanian rescue dog.

Neville was abandoned in a bad way as a puppy in Romania. Someone picked him up and took him to a local shelter where he was given veterinary treatment and cared for until someone in the UK spotted him advertised on the internet. They organised with a UK shelter to bring him over to the UK. Unfortunately, when he was in the UK this person saw him and decided not to adopt him in the end. It was thought he wanted him as a guard dog due to his German Shepherd look. An elderly couple ended up adopting him but after a short 4 weeks they returned him to the shelter.

And that is when I saw him... and fell in love with him. Within 2 weeks he was moving in with me in Lowestoft, Suffolk. Neville is my first dog and I brought him home on 28^th October 2016. He was not called Neville when I adopted him but he didn't know the name the shelter had given him or anyother commands. He is named Neville after Neville Longbottom from Harry Potter. He loved being by the sea and running free along the beach. We have now moved to Shropshire where Neville love to walk and run in the countryside and help us find geocaches.

He a nervous but gentle and loving dog and loves to make doggie friends,

I would love for this travelbug to do the journey that Neville did before he came into my life.
