Dave and Cathy's Road Trip Crew Trackable Proxy #2

In Celebration of the 15th anniversary of geocaching, this Geocoin was initially set free by Dave (azdave1) and Cathy (geogrammiel) Lewis in Barstow, CA, to encourage geocachers to become more active!!

The Geocoin is made of aluminum and measures just over 1.5" around.  It is attached to a 3.5" chain, so feel free to attach your favorite hitchhiker to join it on its journey.

12/16/25 - RE-RELEASED AS PROXY #2 AFTER PROXY #1 DISAPPEARED WITH A LOST CACHE CONTAINER WHERE IT HAD BEEN PLACED OVER 7 MONTHS AGO!!  PROXY #1 HAD TRAVELLED ALMOST 11,370 MILES WHEN IT DISAPPEARED IN LENEXA, KANSAS!!

5/14/21 - RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY AFTER THE ORIGINAL TRACKABLE DISAPPEARED FROM AN UNKNOWN CACHE WHERE IT HAD BEEN PLACED ALMOST 1 YEAR AGO!!   THE ORIGINAL HAD TRAVELED OVER 2,460 MILES BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED LIKELY NEAR NORTHVILLE TOWNSHIP, MICHIGAN!!

The Lenexa Rocks cache, where this was most recently logged, has gone missing with recent flooding in the area. If the trackable was in the cache at the time of flooding, it has likely washed down the creek. We will keep an eye out, but I am afraid this trackable is now missing.
