Retrieve It from a Cache 5/22/2026 Georick402 retrieved it from El Jibaro Puerto Rico   Visit Log

I have a travelbug hotel in Germantown MD. Whenever I travel, I remove all of the travelbugs, take them with me, and drop them off in other locations. I recently went to Puerto Rico, took all of the travel bugs, but didn't have any luck at finding any regular or large size caches. Although a lot of my finds there had the caches listed as regular or large size, they were still small or micros.

I left all of them at the oldest in Puerto Rico's oldest. Being the oldest, I was hoping others would find it after I did, and help move on some of the travelbugs. The oldest container was a small size, so it couldn't hold them all, but I left them behind in a heavy duty ziploc bag. On our last day there, I checked the logs for the oldest cache and noticed no one else had visited it. So I went back to the cache, whichever ones would not fit in the container, I decided to retrieve them and bring them back to my hotel. This way they will be safe. At least they got some miles and got to visit a different "COUNTRY" according to HQ's way at determining countries.
