I originated in Turkey Two-Fer in Harbor Springs, Michigan. My mission is to turkey trot from coast to coast. Please take pictures of all my temporary resting places and post them on my page!

Did you know that a group of turkeys is called a "rafter" and baby turkeys are called "poults?" A male turkey, which people think is a "tom" is actually called a "gobler" and the female is a "hen." Turkeys can fly up to 55 mph for short distances. Benjamin Franklin wanted the turkey to be our national symbol because he thought this stately, majestic bird would be a fine representative of the brand new United States of America.
